Update: We took our 10 and 13 year children to the Cherrybowl Drive-in this past weekend. Our 10 year old son had a blast playing volleyball with me (his mom) and then meeting new friends at the playground! The concession stand had excellent food and reasonable prices. It was a true blast into the past for my husband and I. We were both excited to share this experience with our kids. Since we have a vacation place in Kalkaska, it was an easy drive to Honor. We DEFINITELY will be going back!!! This time on a Friday night (we went on Wed.) when it will be more crowded. The night we were went there were about 30 cars. We want them to experience a "true" family drive-in. Keep up the good work. (Denise Frank 7/4/02)

The Cherry Bowl Drive-In is ready to roll! The Cherry Bowl Drive-In Theatre in Honor will begin its 56th season on Friday. Shows start at dusk, but families can go early to enjoy a round of mini-golf, play a game of volleyball or play on the playground. This year's opening movies are Monsters vs. Aliens, rated PG, and Fast and Furious, rated PG-13.
